Gemma has been a fully qualified hairdresser for over 20 years in all aspects of hairdressing, Colour technician, cutting, hair extensions etc. Gemma strived to work hard & some day own her own business, after building up a large personal clientele base she finally opened up her own salon Little Gems Hair & Beauty in January 2018.
Our Little Gems
We have free parking outside the Little Gems salon. However if parking bays are full, opposite there is available road side parking, (No permit required).
Please note each new client is required to have a patch test, no later than 48 hours prior to any hair colour service, eye lash extensions or tinting.
We politely ask any cancellations to be made 24 hours prior appointment.

When you want to add length or body to your hair, extensions may be the answer. They can make your hair fuller, longer and shinier in a very short time.
Little Gems offers several application methods:
Micro and Nano beads involve the placement of individual hair extension strands, secured using a micro or nano bead. Nano beads are smaller than the micro bead, making them less detectable which is ideal for thin or fine hair. The micro and nano indivudual extensions strands allow for easy blowdrying, styling and washing.
When it’s time to remove the extensions there is no harsh remover or pain involved.
Single bond glue extensions are one of the most popular methods of extensions, and also one of the more traditional. The extensions feature a keratin protein bond at the top, which is solid until melted with a hair extension tool. The melted keratin is then shaped around the hair, and when it cools, the keratin hardens and creates a durable bond. This type of extension can last anywhere from three to six months dependant on the aftercare and needs to be removed by a hair professional.
